The Inbound Marketing Week in Review - Activity Levels, Klout, and SERP Impact

The Inbound Marketing Week in Review - Activity Levels, Klout, and SERP Impact

By Roman KniahynyckyjAug 21 /2011

inbound marketing week aug 21Hello, inbound marketing friend. How was your week in marketing? Ours was action packed and content rich. John got the week rolling by addressing a frequent question we hear - "how much effort do we need to generate positive return on investment from inbound marketing?"  Assuming you have all the components of your inbound marketing machine in place, John summarizes minimum activity levels for inbound marketing ROI based on your growth expectations.

Chad, our Director of Social Media and Search Marketing, returned from military duty and fired off consecutive blog posts on the impact of social media vacations on your Klout score, the impact of content marketing on SERP, and whether or not we should always believe Google's SEO recommendations. Glad to have you back, Chad!

We finished off the week with a guest post by Nancy Myrland, President of Myrland Marketing, on the need to integrate social media into our existing business practices. Nancy will be joining us for a webinar this coming Thursday.

What's new with you? As summer winds down and school ramps up, take a few moments to reflect on your inbound marketing goals and make sure you are where you want (need) to be.
