inboundmarketingacronymsHappy Sunday, inbound marketing friend. It was a busy week with lots of acronyms in the inbound marketing world. Here's what folks were reading on our blog this week:

Chad ignited debate and discussion with his breakdown of why SEO experts are finding themselves reporting to content marketing. SEO practitioners are having a hard time adjusting to the many new changes in Google’s ranking algorithm, indexing system, and Google’s plunge into social media. Should you focus solely on keyword phrase rank or on more keyword phrases driving traffic to your site? Chad answers this critical SEO question

Continuing on the content marketing theme, John outlined the nasty things that could happen to content marketing if SOPA and PIPA are passed. In John's opinion, there are several problems with the proposed legislation, but the net effect if passed would be that companies can be forced offline if their content is found to be in violation of some pretty ambiguous rules concerning ownership and copyrighting.

Finally, Amy, our Social Media Community Manager, took a look at the top 10 Twitter DM (direct message) time wasters. Hopefully, whether you're a sender or receiver, you are using DMs efficiently.

Those are the most popular posts for this week. Feel free to poke around our website and download the many free inbound marketing resources available. And when you're ready to work with an inbound marketing agency, don't hesitate to give us a call.
