inbound marketing 10 16Greetings, inbound marketing friend. How is your Sunday? It's rainy here in Cleveland, but we're happy about the Buckeyes upset win and hopeful for the Browns in Oakland today. Let's take a magnifying glass to some hot topics in the world of inbound marketing this week, shall we?

Most popular this week was Chad's post on LinkedIn's new social media conversion feature. This feature signals the addition of lead nurturing capability within social media rather than forcing PPC visitors to a landing page on an external site. It will be interesting to see how much more LinkedIn expands this lead nurturing capability. Next up, Account Manager Laura Liatti offered a useful post on embedding SEO in your Tweets - as tweeting targeted key words will aid in raising the visibility of your website. Finally, we highlighted an update to the inbound marketing methodology as articulated by HubSpot's Pete Caputa. It's important that our inbound marketing processes be aligned with HubSpot's enhancements and focus on advanced lead analytics

In other recommended reading, I would highly encourage you to read (or re-read) John's missives on digitally naive CMOs and, since the greatest challenge facing CMOs today is generating high quality leads, the ways CMOs can generate leads through inbound marketing
