John McTigue

Title: Vice President (Co-Owner)

Bio: With nearly 30 years of business experience, John McTigue brings historical perspective along with a flair for the future of marketing. Originally working on all of Kuno's Web projects from his own company, Awakening Technology Co., Chris and John decided to merge their companies in 2005. As Partner and Vice President, John still presides over the Web but is now focusing his energies on Inbound Marketing Services.

John's background includes exploring for oil and gas as a geophysicist with Shell Oil, marketing geophysical software with GeoQuest Systems and Paradigm Geophysical, software consulting, and founding and managing a publicly traded independent oil company, Zydeco Energy. In 1998 John retired from the oil industry to start his own Web development company, Awakening Technology Co., which led to the merger with Kuno Creative in 2005.

"I believe that we are now witnessing a consumer revolution that will transform our industry. Consumers are no longer satisfied with direct marketing techniques because they are invasive and boring. People want to talk to each other and to you about your products and services. They want freedom of choice, complete transparency and collaboration before they buy. Today's social networking sites, blogs and other Web 2.0 communities provide that, and there's no turning back. Our job is to help our clients understand these trends and take advantage of them before their competitors pass them by. That's why we're investing ourselves and our company in Inbound Marketing, which we believe is the best approach."
